• NTEN: The National Teachers Enhancement Network
Based at Montana State University offers graduate-credit science and mathematics courses to teachers nationally. Sponsored by the National Science Foundation, NTEN allows educators to participate in the telecomputing courses from home or work through direct Internet access or dial-up modem connections. Courses are taught by university scientists, engineers, and mathematicians. NTEN also enhances professional networking nationwide between science teachers and active research scientists. The site offers telecomputing guides for both students and teachers, and online teaching experiences written by course instructors.
