Description:
In this lesson plan the students will learn what to do when stranded in a car during the middle of winter. From this experience my students will also learn how to construct a winter survival kit for their parents car.
Goal: Students will learn about winter survival.

The students will be aware of how important it is to stay warm when outside during winter. They will also know the consequences if they are not properly dressed.

Go over what to do if you get stranded in a car.
Go over what should be in a survival kit and what each thing should be used for.
Construct an example survival kit.
Have your kids practice making one in class and then go home and make their own.
